The team of atmospheric instrumentation at SAMEER cordially invites you to attend a national Workshop, ‘Journey of Meteorological Instrumentation Systems at SAMEER’ to be held in Mumbai, India on 23-24 Feb 2023.

Proposed workshop intends to understand the current and future requirements of observation system for the atmospheric and weather monitoring in India. The aim of workshop is to bring synergy between Engineers, scientist, academia, and operational weather forecasting agencies for the indigenous development of atmospheric/meteorological instrumentation system in India.

A series of lectures by eminent scientist and expert in the respective fields will be hosted that covers Profiling atmosphere-ionosphere through active/passive RF & Microwave systems including

• Acoustic Profiling of Atmospheric Boundary layer
• Probing middle atmosphere through HF radars
• Cloud & Precipitation Radars
• Microwave Radiometers
• Data analysis and Validation
• Brainstorming session
